"Mother Dearest"

Scrapbook style portrait of Victoria's
mother. This one I was also kinda
stuck on, till
I got so bored at work, I actually thought
of a nice concept and decided to finish it.
In other news I'm still working on the
profiles. Some of them are turning out to be
pretty lengthy, but I guess that's because
there's a lot to cover.
Also working on page 11 of the comic and
working on a synopsis which will grace the front
page once its complete and I stop fiddling with it
every damn minute.
And yes, a lot more artwork to come
will be updating the gallery (way behind) and
adding new WIP's & sketches along with
some enemy mecha designs.

New painting!
"Royal Flush"
A nice little
illustration
featuring Justin Church
in all his devious glory.
This one took longer
than I expected, but that's
mainly because it took me so
long to come up with a suitable
design.
Poker apparently seems to be a
running theme when it comes to the
Atlantech universe.
Also if you're wondering what the
significance of the number seven is
, well that's because seven happens to be
his lucky number. Will have a better
explanation in his profile when I get
around to finishing the revamp
of that page.
Chapter 18 is posted!
Decided to go back to
old way of doing things
that way the format remains
in tact.
I love my Italics what can
I say?
Also here's the last
of the magazine cover
illustrations.
Decided to go with a more
thrashed trashy look with this one
as if it were picked up by someone
off the ground or pulled out of a trash bin.
Now it's back to work on the
Revamp of the profiles page
and page 11 of the comic.
I'll also be adding new sketches
& WIPS to the gallery
shortly.

I apologize for my lack of updates, I had planned
to get the profiles page back up and finish chapter 18
but things just didn't work out like I wanted them to.
Especially with work and a recent snow apocalypse
however I am almost finished with chapter 18. I got a little
obsessive with it and had been reading over it constantly,
changing things and trying to make it play out like I want it to.
So far it's about 99% complete. I just need to wrap up the ending
and do one more revision before finalizing it and putting it up.

Not the painting I was planning on posting

This was done for the history page on the Zyrian culture.
I wanted to depict them as they were in the ancient
Egyptian culture.

I was originally planning to
post this finished painting
along with the newest comic
pages, but I decided to go ahead
and post it before them.
If there's anything I've learned from
spending 40 some hours on this
painting.. it's I absolutely loathe
painting fur. Any who, the un-colored
sketch is in the gallery. I also plan
to use this as a character profile
illustration in the book project
, along with the rest
of the main characters... lots of
future paintings to do. egads!
